Sustainability

Sustainability is at the heart of everything that we do. As the world's largest facilities manager, it's a culture we share with our clients.

A more sustainable portfolio will benefit your bottom line as much as it benefits our planet. Our LEED-certified experts apply their global experience to define a sustainability strategy that takes a long-term view. They'll implement programs that reduce real estate's carbon footprint and the energy costs that heavily weight operating budgets.

Being responsible about sustainability is at the heart of our business. We know how to use green leases, incentives, conservation education for employees, energy retrofits and procurement relationships with eco-friendly vendors to achieve your goals. Companies who work with JLL reduce their portfolio energy costs from 15-50 percent.

Sustainable design
Incorporation of strategies to improve building sustainability and pave the way for future certification.

Energy certification
Classification of buildings by energy efficiency. Obligatory for new buildings, soon to be made obligatory for existing ones.

Energy audits
Comprehensive study of all aspects affecting energy use, including both technical and economic factors.

Goals:
  • Obtain sufficient and reliable knowledge of the energy use of the building through on-site measurements.
  • Identify the factors that affect energy use.
  • Identify, evaluate and categorise the various energy-saving measures, according to the profitability they offer.
