In the face of conflicting stories claiming a crisis in staffing at care homes, JLL approached six of the leading care providers in Scotland and asked them to discuss their experience in the current pandemic.

Care homes have come under close scrutiny in the Covid-19 pandemic, and much of the media coverage has been conflicting, ill-informed and sensationalist.
To try and get behind the headlines we have interviewed some of the leading care providers to get a view from inside the sector. We raised questions concerning how staff are coping with the current demands, and how each operator is responding to the crisis. Our findings paint a very different picture to that shown in the popular press.
