Growth in physical sales over the past 2022 has intensified vs. online shopping
With the recovery of the tourism sector, which has virtually reached record pre-pandemic figures, and customers continuing to return to the shops, the growth of physical sales has intensified compared to online shopping. Compared to increases of 49% and 19% in e-commerce revenue in 2020 and 2021, respectively, this figure decreased by 5% in 2022; it is expected to continue to grow in the coming years, albeit less steeply.
